Families can apply for assistance by using our grant application, available from their social worker or downloading an application and process checklist. Completed applications can be:

In 2023 Tanner’s Team Foundation Board of Directors approved the grant amount to average $2000, and families are eligible for one grant every twelve months. We review complete applications and approve grants in under seven days, often within two.  We disburse quickly, sending payments directly to creditors or vendors using information supplied in the application so as to reduce families’ stress with unpaid bills.  Social workers at Fairview and Minneapolis Children’s hospitals tell us we are easy to deal with, highly responsive, and a vital, valuable lifeline for struggling families.
